Is LSD Really Better Than Psilocybin for Depression? What Definium's Phase 3 Data Actually Shows

On Monday, Definium Therapeutics (formerly MindMed) saw its shares jump more than 50% after reporting that DT120, its LSD-based depression treatment, hit every primary and key secondary endpoint in its 149-patient Emerge trial. The company's CEO told Fierce Biotech the data was "the best ever seen in a pivotal study of depression."

Magic Mushrooms Might Be Rewiring Your Immune System

One of the strangest things about psilocybin therapy is the mismatch in timing: the drug clears the body within hours, but the benefits can last for weeks or months. A new study suggests the strongest signal behind that lasting effect isn't in the brain at all — it's in the immune system.
